August 2008-Post no.4 to infinity muahahahaha

*refers to title* can or not, Hui and Da? hehehehe...

sorry for the lack of updates anyway...due to:

1. big chunks of hw's, assignments, tests and the usual stuffs la...

2. pms. so i might be way too emo when i'm posting blog entries(p/s. do not take a long time to ponder on this statement *ehem*)

so let's see how many things i could rmb for the past few days...

1. 我重学二胡了。对,是重学。为什么?有兴趣,对中华文化有兴趣,对华乐有兴趣,对二胡更是情有独钟!(说得好像有点自大=p)
很久没练了,所以技巧当然生疏不少,虽然只上了一堂课,但曾经学了两年二胡的我,竟然还要老师帮我调音!==
总之,揉弦,抖音,顿弓等等还需要再加强,还需多多练习才行!
第一份功课是练好‘上海滩’ 哈哈...每次练习的时候家人总会在一旁唱 ‘浪奔...浪流...’==

2. back to English! lol...Beijing Olympics 2008!! watched the opening ceremony....speechless. u guys know how good it was rite.... anyway based on the medal tally now, China stands a high chance to be the overall champion, with Russia and US not too far behind. but of course it's too early to predict anything now. and i'm seriously hoping that Michael Phelps will materialize his 8-gold-medal-dream!!it's lyk eye-popping wei. everytime i see him in the competition he would be either breaking an Olympic record or a world record... yengness!!! and as for tennis...Roger Federer, pls i beg u. can u get a gold for this one?? though u're not world no.1 now....u still have the potential riteeeee=p

3. International Student Carnival 2008 held in Sunway UC. volunteered to help out for the forum and cultural night. forum was pretty boring as there's ntg much to do and i barely understood the international students' English(i'm not being racist here.) wore some Indian clothings for cultural night...(not sari k=p)....most of the performances were awesome but the bad experience would be me ushering for 4 hours continously... STANDING of course. actually 4 hours wasn't that long but i've already strained my hamstrings during my last gym workout so this ushering thing was adding the pain onto my legs. damn it!

and btw, talking about gym. probably influenced by Olympics, we have made quite an improvement during the last workout haha. esp dad when he did 1 soild hour of cross-training(his previous record was only 40 minutes) ... cheers for dad!! and i've increased my speed on the treadmill and managed to finish my course within 27 minutes(previously was 29)....k not a big improvement but better than nothing la hehe.

this post seems messy. so i shall stop now. blah blah blah.

(coz still pms-ing now LOL)
